As a brand ambassador, the Accountant provides financial services to our internal divisions and clients. They prepare financial reports to track assets, liabilities, profit and toss, tax liabilities and other related financial activities. This role is critical to the financial knowledge and well-being of multiple companies.


  1. Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department
  2. Prepares balance sheets, income statements and profit and loss statements
  3. Maintains the general ledger
  4. Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts and closes the monthly books
  5. Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits and addresses inquiries from banks
  6. Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections
  7. Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
  8. Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
  9. Files required tax forms with federal, state and local government agencies
  10. As appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned
  12. Updates and provides reporting metrics
  13. Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients

  15. Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
  2. Restaurant accounting experience a plus
  3. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
  4. Highly proficient with ERP systems – Great Plains, MS Dynamics or Quickbooks Online a plus
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Ability to maintain deadlines, despite setbacks
  8. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  9. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  10. Ability to switch between projects, clients and physical requirements quickly
  11. Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and being in front of a computer monitor

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required
  2. Two or more years of accounting experience required
